Weeks turn into days.

Well, it’s Sunday. And it’s the week that many members of my family have been dreading for quite some time now. It’s the week that my brother, and my cousin for that matter, leave for college. For starters, my brothers girlfriend moved out yesterday, so that really jumped us into this week a day early.

As I write this, I am sitting poolside in Canandaigua, New York, spending one of our last days together as a family of four, for the next 15 weeks at least. It’s crazy to me that months ago on this blog, I was simply writing about my brother graduating from high school. It seemed like these weeks would last forever and this day wouldn’t appear in an instant, but as most of life tends to work out, we blinked, and here we are.

What is to be expected of this week, I really don’t have any sort of idea. But it’s something I will soon find out and be forced to figure out for myself. Here’s to the final days. Xoxo.
