The worst part about working full time and going to school full time is that my chances to leisurely read are completely diminished. The only things I read are research articles and textbooks. While they obviously interest me [duh, you pick your major], it really is not the same as reading for pure enjoyment.

While out adventuring with my honey today, we made our way to Barnes and Noble so I could pick up some things to read during this spring break.

I had been hearing amazing things about milk and honey by Rupi Kaur. It’s been on the New York Times best seller list and just about everyone I know has either read or purchased this book, so I wanted to see for myself what it is all about.

To my surprise, Barnes and Noble did have one left, so honestly, it felt destined that I was meant to pick this up today. I just started reading, and this poetry is breathtaking. I cannot wait to finish the rest. xoxo.
