Making Good Friday, good.

“Consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

On this Good Friday, I took time to recognize and count my blessings around me. I woke up with a roof over my head. Was able to enjoy breakfast and go to the gym, both things that I am thankful to afford. I spent time with my family, who was either off today or got out early from work. I enjoyed the beautiful weather. I had dinner with my family and my grandparents, who are all in good health. I took the time to go down to Niagara Falls and appreciate a wonder of the world that does not get appreciated enough by me.

Living in the Falls, I don’t really realize how big of a deal it is, because it is quite literally located a skip, hop, and a jump away from my backyard. It’s gorgeous.

You don’t need to have monumental moments occur in your life to be able to count your blessings. Every little thing you have, no matter how big or small, should be meaningful. Sometimes all it takes it a second to look back and appreciate all you have. xoxo.
